Utilising advanced granulation technology introduced from Germany and the United States all Nordic brake pads meet with SAE and ECE R90 standard. Sourced directly from an OE supplier each and every pad is slotted for superior heat dissipation, chamfered for improved binding and include oe style shims to eradicate noise (rattle).
Designed to provide accurate and close measurement of pad wear, Nordic's Wire Sensors are manufactured to original equipment and TUV standards. Featuring electro-magnetic switches and made of high strength material which resists corrosion and reduced copper loss.

Quality (ECE R90)
Regulation 90 (ECE R90) is the European standard for replacement brake pads and linings. Regulation 90 stipulates that replacement parts comply with European braking requirements and their performance is within 15% of that of the orginal.

Features and Performance
Nordic's brake pad design influences their ability to suppress noise. If the leading edge of the pad has a sharp edge it increases the tendency to grab and bounce more than if the leading edge is chamfered. Along with Chamfered edges all Nordic pads are slotted down the middle to increase flexibility, cooling and venting as well as oe style shims to reduce noise.

Due to the recent introduction of the European Commission’s Block Exemption Regulations there is an ever growing demand for O.E. quality friction products at aftermarket prices. Nordic's brake shoe program for drum and rear-axle applications has been developed to the same high quality standard as Nordic disc brake pads and offer market-leading performance.
