Nordic set a new standard...
Nordic continue to take steps not only to raise the quality of products available but also to help the environment in small but important steps.
From January 2009 we have been actively working with key suppliers to ensure products are produced in the most environmentally way possible.

Most aftermarket companies
supply polished arms that have been dipped in
Nitric acid as part of the polishing process, the
disposal of this acid is damaging to the environment
and has no benefit to the performance of the arm. Nordic
have now taken the decision to omit this harmful process from
it’s full range of control arms.
In addition to this, all arms have now passed TUV approval and are marked accordingly.

- A major decision has been taken to work with suppiers that have a recognised environmental policy within their organisation.
- Nordic have achieved a 20% reduction in their carbon footprint during 2009.

During 2009 Nordic has successfully reduced it's plastic packaging by over 50% in favour of recyclable material.
Nordic's goal is to reduce this further and over the next 12 months aim to completely eradicate all plastic material from it's packaging processes.

During 2009 Nordic have strengthened their environmental commitment, choosing 1and1 as their new web host.
1&1 and BEF (Bonneville Environmental Foundation) work in tandem with Green-e, the nation's leading voluntary certification program for renewable energy, to power their data center with clean, renewable energy. Green-e certifies renewable energy that meets environmental and consumer protection standards that it developed in conjunction with leading environmental, energy and policy organizations.
