The Nordic Brake Disc program boasts quality in abundance. Manufactured by a major OE and leading brand supplier Nordic discs are manufactured to TS16949 certification. As well as chemical composition tests Nordic disc's are comprehensively tested for their strength and hardness, roundness, perpendicularity and straightness of the disc surface, each and every disc is then balanced, machined off and edge marked. As well as offering high quality discs required for price driven markets Nordic also offer a premium disc with a painted hub, produced with an electro coated hub to improve appearance without increasing the coat excessively.

Melting
Duplex system, including 2 7MT water-cooling cupola and 2 8MT electric furnaces, improve the temperature of melted iron, regulate and stabilize chemical components and finally ensure mechanical performance.

Tests
Each batch is subjected to hardness and strength tests on 8 even points around the disc along with hydraulic pressure tests to test the tensile and wedge indentation strength. After a critical process inspection including roundness, perpendicularity and straightness of the disc surface, each and every disc is then balanced, machined off and edge marked.

Cleansing
Each disc is thoroughly cleansed to remove any grease, oil and dirt and finally submerged into anti-rust oil which remains effective for over a year.
